Aspen/Snowmass had this link up on their Facebook page because there's flights to and from Aspen for as little as $109

Looks like travel has to happen by 2/9/11, but you might be able to get one leg of your trip to SES dirt cheap. The snow is waiting

Hi Angie,
Too bad they still insist on fleecing us $120 in baggage fees....

Really!? That's ridiculous. That's something I didn't think of since I have the luxury of not having to fly with my gear...

Was worth a shot anyway, eh?

Southwest is the only airline I am aware of that does not currently charge luggage fees. I'm not sure if they go into Aspen, but I know they go into Denver.

Algunderfoot, I hear, you that's why I will only fly Southwest! Look into shipping you stuff UPS / Fed-Ex ahead of time. You may still make out better, although if you're like me, "I want my 'stuff' with me" so I can watch the Airline Gorilla's :AR15firin throwing and kicking :angryfire:angryfire it around :boxing_sm....

Angie, keep posting the good information :biggthump.

Thanks, jp1

I did booked Frontier for SES last month.
It's not entirely true on the baggage handling fee.

I book the Classic Fare. It was on sale at the time and classic fare is the same price as economy.
Which does include 2 free check bag.

Play around with the website to see if it works for you.

Overweight fees can apply if applicable (50 lbs or over) ~ $75 fee.

Waiver of liability (damage) must be signed if boards are not packed in a hard side case (SportTube).

FedEx is so much easier and less hassle.
