I have been riding some 27.5 Burton Fire boots for a few years and have decided to get some moldable liners now that I have some cash. I just measured my feet and found that I should be riding a liner in the range of somewhere between a 26 and a 26.5.

Does anyone have any suggestions to ensure a tight fit with the larger shells?

Thanks,
Gord

Yep check out the following site:

Take a look at bontex shims and all of the tongue/ankle pads.

I used bontex shims to fit my 27.2cm foot with a 27mondo liner into a 28.0 shell.

i've put 29.0 intuition liners into my raichle sb325race 28.0 for this season (to fill some emptiness inside), hope i do well. as I know, Dave Morgan doing the same thing.
but will go to 27.0 raichles sb shells when i find some.
so i think you can try to put LARGER thermos inside. be especially careful placing hot inners in shells - my have tried to becoma crumpled lotta more compared to 28.0 thermos, so i have to remold them twice.

I just put Intuitions in my Raichle shells. They feel fantastic when I wear them watching TV (Go Sox!). No on-slope experience to relate. Dave Morgan had some valuable tricks for molding the liners. I recommend you buy from him and get his advice on fit and molding.
