Hey - is El Nino set to come through this year? last time was the 2000-2001 season, which was 4 years ago - we are due for another round. El Nino always brings an awesome snow season

Unless the earthquakes shook up the valley, Riverside would be more than 30 miles.

Well it is pouring down rain at my house near SF and puking snow according to the web cams at Squaw, Northstar and Alpine right now. Looks like the snow is down to around 6000 feet.
One storm doesn't make it an el nino, but its a nice start. I may have to bring a board when I got to pick up my new boots this weekend.
