anyone remember this company? know what happened? know who was behind it?

it was one of the many socal snowboard related companies from the early 90's. I had a pair of the pant's that was warm and dry (no mean feat in socal)

actually, no...916 is NorCal, most definitely. Its the area code around Tahoe I believe...or somewhere in that area

they made good gear. My jacket is 15 years old and still works. Just curious

OK that makes a little sense however 916 clothing was all over the Big Bear area...I always thought that 916 was the backwards thought of 619 (SD area code) anyway good luck

916 is around Sacramento area, I think. That'd be the Governator's area code now.

damn. I was thinking "Randy S" might be the guy. Turns out the owners name was Randy Schaffner and that he's still makin BMX gear.

gonna track him down. They were in Grass Valley. Good stuff IMO
