Timberline is honoring the Weekday Plus passes on weekends during the fall, until they go to 7 days a week operation. The pass costs $149 and is good on non-holiday weekdays, and 7 days a week 3/28 - 6/5. It takes five trips to break even.
Conditions were decent for October - you could ride off the lift, no hiking to load at the midstation, only about 50 feet of walking to load at the bottom of Palmer. In several recent years they haven't even been running the lifts this time of year.
