Cutting Blax/Head binding

I'm trying to get low angles on my AM board, the binding is a bit overhanging the board. Since I used small boots, mondo 25.5, the boot is not overhanging.
Anybody has cut the tip of the binding as on the pic ?

I've got a set of those, bail version, and love them for freeriding and teaching! Lots of flex.
I'm lazy to take them of the board right now, but I think that there are 2 sets of mounting holes for toe/heel blocks. Your seem to be sitting on the holes further away from the center? Move to the closer set of holes and you won't have to cut anything.
