Thursday we debated going after several days of rain at MHM, I am glad we decided to go. It was foggy and mixed conditions but Mike makes it look like "Hero Snow". Fun day after all. Thanks, Mike!

Nice video. I wish I could ride like that!

Is MHM Mt. Hood?
Looks like a fun hill to ride.

Your progress looks really good Jon. You will get there. Mike has been around a while and ridden with some of the best
riders in the world.
Hi Jon, yes, MHM = Mt Hood Meadows. It is one of 5 ski areas on Mt Hood, Oregon. The largest and most varied terrain. The other two worth mentioning are Timberline and Ski Bowl. Timberline is famous for the lodge and year around skiing. Ski Bowl is supposedly the largest "Night Ski" area in the USA. It is the closest to Portland. Older but still very good area if the freezing level is down. Bryan

Thanks Hans, trying ;)

I always enjoy riding with Mike. He is a very "Smart" rider. He knows when to push , how to use the terrain and when to back off. On this particular day I had wanted to try a couple new things. I chickened out on the snowboard due to the conditions. It was pretty knarly overall. I choose to try out my recently modified skis (new snow stix installed). They were excellent. Started out with them backed way off and then had Mike there to tune them each run. As I got warmed up and we found some better conditions we cranked them down. They really gave additional life to the ski and made an already damp ski , super damp. It was a good test day. Plus I got to ride around with the visuals of Mike's smooth carving in my "Mind's Eye". It really turned out to be a much better day than I would have expected. Thanks, Bryan
