Looking for BX board suggestions. I haven't raced any BX events since twin tip boards were required. I'd like to do a couple events this season.
I need to find something that is legal for BX, but aggressive like my race boards.
Any ideas? Any good deals out there on leftover boards? I'm not looking to drop $500+ on a new custom board.

I personally recommend the Nitro Torque. It's one of the few racey/directional boards still in production (F2...Eliminator? being the other that comes to mind)
I raced on it (all of twice. anyway.), but it's designed as a BX board.

I like the Volkl Cross. It is a BX specific board, but is no longer in production. The Ealn Vertigo is also a real nice BX board. It is more of a freeride board and for soft boots, but still a fun, stiff board.

2) f2 eliminator ltd '2002, 2003, 2004
3) volkl cross
any of this boards is unbelievable racer in usual freeride clothes (geometry)

If you can find one....check out the 2002 Oxygen SX157 or 164.

It's a real fun board that's specifically designed for a boardercross. A few years ago I demoed a 157 with plates and it was fast, stiff, and zippy.

There is a place near Mount Snow, VT that has a couple of the Oxygen Snowboardcross boards. Don't remember what size. The shop is called Bonkers Board Room. They would probably ship to you and I believe they were cheap.

I think Sean Martin said most of his Donek factory BX guys were on Inclines. You can get those new for a lot less than $500.

My girl friend rode one of these last year and like so much she bought another one. Got in on sale from blue-tomato.

For some reason, I keep going back to look at the Donek Axis. Is the Axis BX legal? I've run a handful of BX events on race boards (when it was allowed) and I've always done well. I'd like to stay on something that is still hardboot oriented.
