I dont usually go near a computer on the weekend. But I check my email this afternoon to find a nifty little gift in my inbox

Blue opens Tomorrow. Sweet!!!!!!............ Honey, can I..............

Originally scheduled for this coming Thursday, I would have missed first turns of the season. Up the schedule and make Greg smile.

Don't want to rain on ur parade (sic) but Blue won't open til the 17th as per my brother, snow sports director. Besides...they haven't even had the chairs OK'd by the agency that does it for the state/feds. Do u think they could have done this last month?:freak3:

Tell that to the the other 300+ people I rode beside today at Blue Mountain. Nice of them to let us in four days before the "official" opening:ices_ange and let us ride "uncertified" lifts for the 1.5-2 hours :(as well as make linked turns in variable conditions from top to bottom on Easy Out, School Hill, Explorer, Vista, Midway and Main Street with a "sleety" rain just after 10.

Nice to get some turns in with Mr. Smith and dig the new beard!!!! :biggthump

My rust is off and the season began TODAY!!!!!:D

Welcome to the new season and lets keep the fingers crossed for a nice, cold, snowy one!!!!!

Hope to see more folks out this year. Looking at doing a 2-day event for BMES 10, a Thursday and a Friday.

On the bright side it was not the worst conditions I've every ridden at Blue, but Main St. does rank in the top 5 crappy days.

It was fun making (more like trying to make) turns with the "Thin Man" again. Now on Friday lets minus the baby sized death cookies and snow craters-- OK. That was some hairy ****!

See ya on the snow Friday...

Depending on the conditions report, I thinking about heading up to Blue on Sunday with my son. Already hit Windham last Saturday and am heading there again on Friday.

I really enjoyed riding my new Coiler AMT. It's a nice upgrade.

Looking forward to ECES and BMES this year.
