St. Louis, MO riding and new place to live

Hey guys! I know it's been a long time since I've been on here. But I'm moving to St. Louis, MO in the next few weeks and I've found one place to ride. So how is Hidden Valley? Anyone been there? I know it'll be nothing compared to what I'm used to, but I'll have fun anyway!

On another note, anyone know of any good areas to move to in the St. Louis area? I'm looking at getting an apartment, and would like a decent and safe area to live in.

Well, buddy... I'm going to be absolutely no help whatsoever. I know zero about St Louis other than going to the Arch once. Welcome to the Wastelands.

I had to laugh when I googled Hidden Valley and I saw it listed as "ski and golf resort". I ride at Sundown Mtn just outside Dubuque, Iowa and Chestnut Mtn south of Galena, Il. These are 450 ft slopes which are about 7 hr drive north of St Louis. If you drive 14 hrs west from St Louis you could be at Winter Park, Co. I'm not sure if there is a 'day trip' near other than Hidden Valley. Good Luck to you!
