Anyone coming to Telluride for the World Cup Races?

yup, coming out from Minnesota. Last time I was there was about 10-12 years ago, the two consecutive years that the USASA races were there. Telluride remains my favorite area to ride. I've been waiting for a good excuse to return.
My daughter got her first USASA nationals podium there and now will be competing in the WC PGS there. I hope Telluride becomes a regular host for the WC in the future.
Have any idea which run the race will be on? I think it was on Lower See Forever for the USASA GS, which, I think might be rather flat for a world cup race.

Newcarver should be in attendance for viewing. I wish I could come watch and see my old friends.
I remember USASA nats down there. Good times :)

Yep, I'll be there at least a few days to catch all the excitement. The gates they had set up this past weekend were on the mid section of Misty Maiden. On the fairly steep section under lift 4. The starting area was at the top of MM where it comes off of Village Bypass.

I figured that since Misty was closed already that they were constructing the BX course there, but I know that they have to close the run for the PGS course a certain # of days ahead according to FIS rules.

The BX course is at the bottom of section of MM. Right next to the lift in front of the village. You can see a lot of action just riding up the lift! Wonder how you will be able to spectate? I'll try and take some pictures when I go up on Fri. and post them.
