Mammoth or June over the holidays?

Hey all,

Who's going to be up there over the holidays? I will probably be at June most of the time to escape the crowds, except when my annoying friends insist on getting some time in at Mammoth. I plan to be up there the 25th through the 4th.

Anyone else?

I was thinking of going to June for a few days before christmas.

i will be there with my son Arclite on the 26 and 27, we were thinking of doing June on saturday and mammoth on sunday, but if we really like June on saturday we might do June on sunday too
i think on sunday the 27 at Mammoth MVP pass holders can start riding at 7.30 am, an hour before everybody else, check mammoth site for updates

I can't seem to see it on the June Mountain website. Does anyone know for sure if Mammoth Season Pass is good for June Mountain or not? Thanks.

Yes, all standard Mammoth passes (including daily all-mountain tickets) are valid at June. Call with 1-800-MAMMOTH if you want 100% confirmation.

June Mountain's opening day was incredible. It was hero snow everywhere except for the trees where the left over powder was still very soft. Gunsmoke could've been groomed a little bit better but it was still the most carver friendly run on the hill. I ran into Jake who I met at Snow Performance and other hardbooter I didn't get the name of. Can't wait to go back :)

Loc, I'll be at Mammoth tomorrow since my friends insist on going there, but I'm going to try to go to June on Sunday or Monday.

My legs are super beat already though, six consecutive days is tough, and I'm going to try to get three more in.

Nekdut, I will try for first tracks on Gunsmoke this Saturday, and back again Sununday. My Packers play at 1:30 Sunday but I'll likely be spent by then anyway. I'll be on my new Black (diamondplate) Coiler just in case you can't guess which booter is me ;)
