first day

heading to 49 today.
kids in tow.
have heard snow cover is pretty good. :biggthump
teaching youngest to board again.
middle itching for a helmet in order to go off jumps.
oldest boards, but wants to try skiing again.
crap more money and no new board for me. :(

I will be at 49 most saturdays sometime with kids but mostly not.

first day was a bust. youngest got to top of the beginer run, saw sister and older bother blast on by and said he wanted to ski. refused to try snowboarding. Good thing will bought some used skiis for him.


49 north has opened up the angel peak. right now you have to hike it.
When I get a chance to climb up there I will give a report.

they have a couple of good runs for carving but the chair lift back up takes sooo long.:eek: I mostly ride over on chair 4.
