I've seen some of his boards, they were wider than that and they were bigger.

that looks like one of the 178s I had which was a preproduction board and not any different than the regular graphic ones.
could be wrong but I am stating this based on the board I owned with the same non production topsheet that I have not seen on any of the custom primes.

your correct.

Thats just a demo 178 from the traveling fleet and or a test stick, never made for Klug all team stock boards have differnt graphix, just some guy with bad info.

in great condition. especially for how retro they are! this is a pair of hard snowboard boots for raceboards. =] if you are a snowboarder and haven't tried out a race board it's something you owe yourself ;} the stiff boot may look less comfortable but they are only slightly harder to walk in, once your on the snow the stiffness allows you to carve the mountain up harder than you could EVER do on a freestyle board.

I payed the Buy it Now price for this board on ebay but the seller yanked the sale after I paypal'd. The pics are the sames ones used from that sale. The seller gave me a story about an old roommate - looks like he was full of $hit. I pressed him to complete the sale and then I backed down after he explained his situation. I emailed the seller about this craigslist listing - the listing was deleted within a few hours......very interesting

So I troll through Craigslist in search of alpine equipment using Craiglook (http://www.craiglook.com/) and other tools.
I thought I should post the ones I'm not interested in to BOL :1luvu: as I'm doing these searches already.

An unforeseen circumstance has arisen. :o
Here's how it plays out.
I post an ad I find on Craigslist to BOL.
The Craigslist seller is swamped with emails. :eek:
The seller either deletes the Craigslist ad and puts the item on fleabay for much more $$
or post a new Craigslist ad for 2x what they were asking
or posts it on BOL for 2x what they were asking on Craigslist
or someone buys it to flip it for profit. :(

I was hoping to widen the opportunities for BOL buyers not drive the prices up! :barf:

So I'm stopping.

Anybody going to the Vancouver Olympics in February? I've got four tickets to the Parallel Giant Slalom Snowboard finals on 2/27/10. This a medal event, meaning the gold medal will be won here. If this is the collector I think it is. He is selling down his 3rd and 4th string boards. He has an amazing collection of really rare boards.

Or: He going on another big climb. Like REALLY BIG.

I am looking for a litigator. Found one for $50.00 custom painted for a guy by Jamie Lynn but the base material had completely deteriorated. It had exposure issues from being used primarily as a display at a local surfshop. He pulled it out and I was so psyched only to see the base... still looking. Plate pow board for me

These are very well made (USA) boards. If you can score it for a "C" note you would have a very , very good deal too!! If it is clean, it is probably currently priced appropriately. These were just shy of 500$ new. I bought several of it's big brother back then. They hold up well under weight.
