Mackenzie:

I am based in Toronto as well and finding good carving gear is tough.

First off - I would suggest that you look at a slightly longer length, depending on your height and weight.

You can check out Sign of the Skiier, Sporting Life Bikes and Boards and Hogtown - they usually have a couple older carving boards in stock and are usually flexible in pricing.

You can also contact Bruce at Coiler (www.coiler.com) - it will be rare, but he might have a board that meets your needs. He is in Toronto, but the demand for his custom boards is so high - it will be lucky if he has one.

Other person to contact would be Chris Houghton (he post here), he is in Maple and has excellent contacts in getting used gear and usually has a couple of boards for sale himself.

Bomber in excellent - post your needs and see what comes up. Also EBAY is pretty good if you know what you want and what is a reaonable price for it.

Hope this helps,

Rob

Thanks for the recommendation. I have already emailed directly that I have a 161 Prior available, if any Canadians want it, $250 is the price. Don't apply unless you want a snappy board with tons of edge hold. In fact it has the same graphics as your old 175. See you at MSL on Friday - opening day!
