Blackjack is back

Fresh off the rumor mill is that the folks from Mt. Morris have closed a deal to aquire and re-open Blackjack. While not my personal UP favorite, it offers good Pow day options, a decent apres' scene (days past) and will pull some of the crowd from Indianhead making more wider turns possible.

It will also likely refloat the idea of interconnecting Blackjack and Indianhead someday.

As the details become public, an investment group from Wisconsin, based in the Oshkosh area have bought the resort. The folks from Nordic Mountain will run / manage the hill. No word as to the status of the housing. Website should be up in a week or two.
