so fcking tempted to just drop every other aspect of my life, find a cheap room and rush this!

No site there anymore...must have been too good to be true.
But that sounded like the locals price. If you could make them believe you live in the villiage, you might be able to get a pass for that.

The link does look like it is dead, but that price you quote is about right for the Colorado Pass. This will get you Breck, A-Basin, Keystone and then 10 days at Vail or Beaver Creek. I think the catch is you have to physically be here in the county to buy it (and I think some locations in Denver/Boulder). Go to their website for more details.
It is so cheap now that I have a couple of friends back in the mid-west who come out each Fall, buy the pass, and then make several trips out this way during the season with the pass. At that price it does not take too many days to get you dough back.
Only down side to this is every yahoo in the Denver Metro area now gets this pass and on the weekends it can be VERY crowded up here.

oh Im sure Id avoid weekends.
link works fine for me..odd...and it doesnt say anything about havin to be there in person, either...
man...$329 is just insane.
