This is lost inside the Big Mountain thread (BMES), but I'm happy with how it turned out, so am sharing it here too. I think it captures the fun of carving with your buddies on a spring day pretty well. You be the judge. Notice that the Easter bunny is riding a Skwal...

Shot with a Panasonic TZ5 compact camera (not a camcorder), stabilized with VirtualDub and Gunnar Thallin's Deshaker plug-in, edited with Pinnacle Studio 12.

Nice work on the vid. You Montuckyians achieve excellent results with modest equipment. Your tooth cam mount is a a fine example of your creative talente. Closing day at Big Mtn was appearently blessed with excellent conditions.

It's a custom Donek. The 178 Perlstein Skwal.

Length 179
Sidecut 17m
Waist 11.5cm
Stiffness 8.2

I believe he sent Sean an original Lacroix Skwal to be copied.

Ya, thanks for the board info...I'll have to look into the Donek Skwal...
The Gibson B looks nice as far as specs go...

I am really diggin' my Thias Easy Jungle with an 8m sidecut tho...

John, wow, that's rad video quality from a little cam like that. How were you holding it on the following scenes? Were you skidding a lot to keep the guys in front in the frame?
