Myself and a buddy decided to rock alpine boards in Blue Mountain's annual pond skimming event, we turned plenty of heads and answered tons of questions...then I pretty much failed at the pond skimming but you can't see it in the picture. :D
FYI It's a 168 SIMS Burner, and no the split tail did not break!

you gots to keep speed high, your weight low, knees bent...
I've enjoyed sucess at several pond skimmins on Alpine equipment before:cool:

If you are ever at Blue again, I would be interested in tryng out that burner for a few runs.
JBS and I are at Blue regularly, turning heads with turns, but the pond skim is something I wouldnt do on hard boots, seems a higher level of succeptibility to something snapping.
Plus thats a better time to be carving at Blue, when everyone is gathered around the skim pond.
