Anyone know which manufacturers make a ski/snowboard full face helmet.
I've looked around a bit and can only locate obselete models that used to be sold.

Providing a link to a manufacters website would be awesome also.

Thanks,

Paul

Fairbanks uses the Boeri and loves it. He says it is lighter than most and the chin guard isn't right in front of your mouth, there is a little more space between mouth and guard than some others.

The boeri bx was discontinued last year and is no longer being made from what i have found out. If you find one buy it. its twice the price as the leedom or the giro but it is a much better helmet. If you cant find one go with the leedom ......it runs small though so order one size up.

Too big ........ similar in size to downhill mountian bike helmets. I'm sure it is very safe against rock vs. head collisions.... but not really what you want to ride for the everyday. Just my 2 cents.

There are many dealers for Sweet Kayak helemets in the USA, so why not for the snowhelmets? I saw some guys at the SESvids wearing them.

They do sell them in the US. There is a shop here in Telluride, CO that sells them. Very nice looking, but pricy. I just got a Giro Remedy S for $56 shipped from Altrek.com Couldn't beat that price.

http://www.jagged-edge-telluride.com/telluride_store.html Pretty sure this was the place that had them. I called last winter and they had them in stock for around $350, I think? Dang, you found a better deal on the Giro?! :smashfrea Surprised at how low you can find them.

The D2 is an amazing helmet and the composite ones can be had for less, in comparison to the carbon ones.

Still not cheap when compared to many, but you can't hang a price on the style (for miles). The WC SBX look is fast, standing still.

If you can enlarge my avatar, that's the one right there.

received the Giro remedy today (oh...and my TD3s and Fintecs)
awesome helmet - I have a very big head - 7 5/8 hat size - and the large (biggest available in this model) fits like a glove.

I like it for colder days-very comfy and snug and warm-first full-face I used.Spring days, I break out the Giro 9 w/tune-ups which is good for vents. The Remedy is too toasty on warm days.
