Taken at Sugarloaf during the 2004 USCSA national PGS championships. I had a dislocated shoulder in that picture, but raced through the elimination rounds anyway before getting it fixed (it wasnt the best time for a 'board off the ground carve' photo op). I gimped my way into 8th place and my team went on to get 2nd.

It's me at Mammoth California, March of 2003. It was a fantastic day! So bright and the snow was the best! The guy that took the pic was one of the guys that take pics at the top of the lifts. He was on his way in for the day and took some action pics on his way down. Said he thought he got some good ones??Tim

He died last summer he was the best dog ever
though he was scared of everything like mice and frogs
pretty funny to watch a dog that weighs 140 lbs and when stands on his hind legs looks eye to eye with me(I am 6 ft) run away yelping from a frog
he was a good dog:D

Owned...I got 7th, only after the ghost tried to trip me though, i had to lay myself down in order to miss trampling his gimpy shoulder. There was maybe 8 feet between those coarses for the first 10 gates.

It doesn't matter man, i was never more than 2 places behind you the whole season, same goes for you. We'll just see what happens next yeah, that is if i can ever afford a new board now that mine is garbage material. I think we should start making reservations for nationals now, so they're dirt cheap.

Heh, Back to the Future is one of my top-ten all time faves. I once had the extreme good fortune to be able to interview Crispin Glover (George McFly) at my college radio station (WUNH) when he was on a book tour. I was sad to learn that he didn't like that movie or being in it. He's quite an eccentric. Also you wouldn't have guessed from the movie, but he's a pretty big guy, about 6'1" I think. Definitely not a wimp.

Crispin Glover is one hell of an actor. Rent "River's Edge" to see him at his best. Too bad he has to lower himself to tripe like "Charlie's Angels" and "Back to the Future", but hey, we all have to make a living.

Though I change my avatar at will from time to time, this latest one depicts my need to beat my knees into slavish submission. It's not enough that I stand on concrete floors for a living, then I turn around and spend the evenings pounding my legs at the local skatepark.
And, the pleasurable vanity of showing that an old fat guy (think: a bowling ball on two toothpicks for legs), like muhself, can ride on more than one medium.

I find Neil Gendzwill's "psycho puppet" disturbingly funny. I think i thought that was a real person at first, then i wasn't sure what the hell it was.

My avatar has changed a few times. Now that the snow's gone I couldn't stand seeing the one I had of me snowboarding, so I changed it. You are not what you buy.
The pyscho puppet has always disturbed me, partly because I was never sure whether the weird distortion was intentional or not. The original isn't nearly as disturbing.

Bizarre, I don't have any trouble (trying at home now on a different computer than when I posted the link). You could try indirectly by going to http://smiletime.restless-slayer.com and then just poking around the pictures - the one I used was #633.

Marilyn Cambers, what/ who the heck is that? totally confused, but intrigued (sorry).
Well, I figured the play on words was apparent for the die-hard carvers .... Camber has to do with the amount of flex in the board, or as explained to me the "hump" in the center of the board .... how appropriate! Marilyn fits with "Camber" for some ah, obvious reasons, plus it is close to my first name ...
I am a novice, female, with an alpine setup, including hardboots .... I've skied one time. If I was gonna learn something, this looked like the ultimate! If you are gonna do it, do it with insatiable zeal ... hmmm, alot like Marilyn...... :D

OK,
now i understand. I know what camber is of course but I didn't know who the porno star was. I figured she was a porno star after reading the last post, though. I'm 26 so I'm going to assume that when she was in her prime, I was quite young. (you know "JJ" is the hot one now). I googled her name but I can't view the results where I am now. The picture is her, too, or you just dressed up as her, or you dressed up as superwoman?

Sorry for the 3 month delay......I've been off-line all summer and in hibernation....so I'm just getting caught up on some of the older happenings, threads, and posts on Bomber.
Jack--I didn't know you were a fellow UNH'er. My roommates ran MUSO and were instrumental in inviting Crispin Glover to the school. Around the same time they also had Richard Linklater give a talk and the infamous Timothy Leary made a presentation. I got to meet them both. Leary actually hung out in our apartment after his presentation and partied down like a rock star....imagine a 72 year old keeping up with a bunch of raging college guys. He was a very eccentric and intriguing individual.
Oh yeah, about my avatar....that's Michael Schumacher.....I'm addicted to Formula 1 racing and Ferraris.
