Quote from Virus' site:

Being one of the most experienced manufacturers of boards that can be used for the so-called EC-style, we are introducing the X-treme Carver model.

Made from the best materials available (carbon-Kevlar-sandwich construction) this new shape has been injected with our vast experience and knowledge from 20 years of building custom made snowboards and skis. The result is the ultimate carving board.

This board boasts unbeatable edge hold and extreme damping at high speeds. In spite of that it is still very manouverable at slower speeds and on tight slopes.

Geoff, what were your impressions of this bad boy when you had it out?

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the board. I rode it on Goose Bumps at Sunapee, which is a narrow black diamond and it railed. It has great edge hold, the snap/pop you would expect from a Virus and its a beautiful board. It was pretty easy to transition from edge to edge on the steeper slopes, on flat runs is were I needed to work the board a little more for edge to edge transitions.

My impression is that this is a better built board than the Sword which pretty much has the same specs as this Virus.

The reason I'm selling this is because my M-Spec Schtubby has specs that are very close to this board. I'm trying to thin out my quiver. I'm lucky if I get 15 days on snow a year and don't need to hang on to boards that will only see snow for a few days a year.
