Just starting to get into it. Wouldn't mind a riding buddy so we can watch for traffic, give each other tips, etc. Lemme know. I'm in Etobicoke. High Park has some nice hills, good pavement and low traffic.

Give up High Park. Get on the highway and go to Kirby (Oshawa Ski Club). There is probably the highest concentration of hard booters at this hill than any other place I can think of (and I've been everywhere). Great terrain, grooming, and the longest season in Ontario. 60 mins east of the city. If you need directions checkout the web site. www.oshawaskiclub.com (http://)

I'm talking about carving on pavement. But thanks for the tip. I just might check out Kirby this winter.

The hair under my helmet must be blonde! I guess, I like, don't get the pavement thing. Duh! I thought is was new lingo, you know, for groomed snow..... or something!?
Guess I'm just perpetuating the snowboarder stereotype. W h a t e v e r!
