mammoth in June!

Has anyone been up to Mammoth Mtn recently? I'm planning to go up there for their last weekend before closing for the summer. Should I bother bringing the alpine board?

I was thinking of heading up this past weekend but prior engagements prevented it unfortunately. Only chairs 1,3 and 23 are open, and from the looks of the webcams, there are a good amount of bare spots on the lower parts of the mountain. I hear that the upper mountain is nice corn/spring snow after 10am or so, but it isnt groomed so alpine boards arent necessarily the best choice. Anyway, you should go for it! This is your last chance this season!
