No rain here-all powder-not chunder either-was still light and funnnnnnn!
I just couldn't bring myself to take out the alpine boards yesterday. Had them with but when I saw there were 3 legal open, ungroomed runs w/ 14"+ of fresh on them, the boards stayed in the coffin. Not to mention, the 4 other runs that I got to plunder all day, pockets of thigh deep fluff-such a nice day and the fat powder boards rocked it-no breaks-lift snacks and fist pumps and hi-fives from the fellow poachers out there. Let's just say, I spent my day where others were not.

There was some great cord out there and will be going back soon-for a small, local mountain w/ nite hrs too, they really are easy 60 mins from Portland
Always looking for others to go to the Peak-quick easy and lots of specials.

Depends on storm track but I'm either at Shawnee or going to Cranmore for a freebie. Probably not carving but riding soft or getting out the powder sticks for a fun day:biggthump

Very nice today--super groomed and sunny cord...saw one other carver-told him about BOL...said never heard of it. And after a long hiatus, went out on 162 Ginsu today and softies. First run, felt like a newb..2nd run better. 3rd run was fun splashing mashed spuds around and I was able to carve around and have some fun. Felt the uncontrollable urge to ducktape wrap the boots to make them stiffer-next time out, I think I will. Fun though...forgot how fun it can be after 10 years of no softboots.
