Board is sold and picked up. Enjoy your new ride tenorman. :biggthump

I'll put this board up here for a few days, then on to ebay. Out of respect for local riders, I'll give Vancouver locals a 24 hour first crack. If no one takes it locally in 24 hours, the first out of towner to respond (to this thread) will be first in line.

I bought this board from Bryan a number of years ago. It is in very good shape. It has a few little scratches on the base, none deep(see pics). The topsheet has a few ski pole marks and nicks, but nothing that would allow water to get into the board. The edges are very sharp, and the board is ready to ride as is. It has black vertical sidewalls and is the same handmade quality as a custom board built by one of the small manufacturers. Minimun stance width is about 14", maximun stance width is about 20 1/2". I rode it at just under 19", and that worked great for me. It has about 11mm of camber, base down on the floor (16mm standing on it's tail in a door jamb)

Stiffness. I like boards pretty stiff and I quite liked the ride on this one. I weighed about 170 when I bought it (I'm 190 now), and had no trouble riding it. My riding style has been described to me by other people as quite energetic and I tip boards over pretty far when I ride. I'm only including this info to help you determine whether this board would suit you. I ride with a lot of weight forward and I couldn't fold the nose on this if I tried. In my estimation it would adequtely entertain someone who was 220+ lbs.

Specs.

Tip 224mm
Waist 178mm
Tail 223mm
RL 165cm.
SCR 15.36 Metre

Asking USD $250 plus shipping.

It's a dime in these pics, the marks are pretty small, but I want the buyer to know beforehand.

Hey Bryan, I have an interested party, do you know more about the history of this board? Who it was built for?

I looked at it closely and determined it still has the original factory base structure on it.

hi DAVE

is this the same board you let me ride up at whistler last year? if so i'll take it! i am assuming the guy mentioned above hasn't made a definite offer and therefore is not lined up before me. just let me know where to bring the cash.

btw because of the crummy snow conditions locally which probably won't improve until mid february, i am reluctant to risk hitting a rock on a nice board (in fact i have 3 brand new ones still wrapped in plastic sitting in my closet awaiting better snow coverage lol.) i'll just pay you for the board and you can still try to sell it on ebay--you never know as you might just get a lot of money for it. if it sells just refund my money and if it doesn't sell then give me the board. how's that for a no-risk transaction!

if you want to take Boris up on his invitation to ride up at cypress, i'll put aside my differences with cypress and go with you. due to your current situation, i insist on paying for your lift ticket.

The interested party wanted to know more on the history of the board, and has not made an offer, you responded within 24 hours so..........

Since it's the only board I brought to Whistler that's red, this is the one you rode. Give me a call anytime tonight before midnight. My area cd. is Vancouvers original one followed by --> 807-1369. Your offer is very generous, but if you pay me for it, it's yours', don't worry, I've got others. I don't really like any of the local hills at all, too small.

Call me.

thanks,

Dave R.
