1st day out today-was a little over-excited to ride the new-to-me Virus Phantom....yeah...not very turny and the 6 inches of fresh powder was probably not optimum to showcase the skills-felt like I was going out for my first time in hard boots. Got the prime and made a few runs and egads!!! Felt a pop in my rear knee on my toes side turn- went and strapped on the skis and just took it easy-I'm not going to think it, say it or worry about it Probably should've warmed up on my FP first but that'll learn me. The ice storm screwed with the snowpack but overall, they're working damn hard to bring it back in line. It was nice to float thru some freshies today-got to break out the new PBR fatboys which held up real well on the ice. P-lenty of it too.
