TD2 - Different base plates

Hello,
I picked up a set of used TD2s, 1 intec and one standard binding. I just noticed that the base plates are different shapes on each binding, and the laser etching is different. Is this a known difference between Std and SI or a change as the TD2 line evolved? Are there functional (weight or other) differences too?

loopback: no difference on the base plate relative to an SI vs a standard. They use the same Base Plate.

However, the shape and laser graphics did change slightly over the 6 years of the TD2. So these might have been replaced or ? in that time.

Bottom line: they are all compatible, you should be fine.
