Just received these boots used, haven't worn them. Too tight.
Has a thermo liner (26) that can be molded at least once more.

What size are the shells? Don't they go from 26.0-26.9?

This is my first pair of hardboots so I'm not sure on size, would these fit a US 9 comfortably?
Thanks,

NYCarver-
Please get a piece of plain old paper, and put it up against the wall (not on carpet.) Kick your heel against the wall and trace around your foot on the paper. Then get a ruler, and measure the full length of your tracing in centimeters. That's your mondopoint.

If his street shoe size is a US 9, then he probably find that a mondo point 26 is too small- unless of course he has very low volume feet.
Mondo point 27-27.5 will be the sweet spot for his size.

The shells actually say 289mm above the heel.
I agree, go with a 27-27.5 if you are a solid 9 street shoe.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I'll try a ski boot on for size to make sure I get the right fit. I did some measuring and I have a MP 26.35. Bobby Buggs I'll let you know about the SB 324's, maybe they would work.
Thanks,

No, you're a size 26-26.5. Figure out which ski boot fits. It should be tight, as liners pack out considerably. Kick your heel in hard. You should be able to judge it. If I recall, Raichles run large anyway, so the 27 might be an especially bad choice. You can fix a small boot, but not a big one.
I measure 28.5-29 depending on the temperature (yes, my feet grow and shrink. Weird stuff). I wear a size 12 street shoe, but you wouldn't know that. You'd say I'm a 10.5-11, but I can't fit, for the life of me, in anything smaller than 11.5. Boots are weird things..

Good Advice, Thanks again. I'll start with a 26 ski boot and see how it feels. Once I know my size I'll know what I need to find.
