I have Raichle SB 423s. Carvers almanac has some reccomendations on springs. They say SBs are softer so to go with the yellow springs. I want to upgrade my boots, any one have any experiece with the BTS? Will blue and red be too stiff? Are these better than the stock lean adjusters? Any one use boosters too?

I think a bit more information might be helpful. Such as: your weight, riding style, aggressiveness and what you're trying to achieve. Are you let's say a Clydesdale rider using alot of body english to aggressively arc your turns? Or are you a lightweight with alot of finesse and a quiet upper body making turns?
Anyways, I don't think that you'll get many negative reviews on the Bomber BTS! Instead of being locked into a stiff position or having minimal support of riding in walk mode, you'll be able to find tune the ride that is right for you once you decide on what springs to go with and a bit of tinkering! We all love to tinker with our gear!
My example: I'm 150 pounds, am an advanced rider who is moderately aggressive with a somewhat smooth riding style. I have the SB323 with yellow(soft) springs all the way around. I may be tempted to try the blue(medium) springs for my heelside/backside turns, which right now is my stronger turns.
Booster straps, I've tried them, didn't change my riding/comfort that much. So I am currently not using them. Other people will have to chime in on the Booster Straps.
That's just my two cents. Good luck!

I use boosters without BTS, and they enabled me to get alot more control and feel of the board. Also, they help prevent shin bang if thats a problem.

yeah, I have the BTS in my heads as well as a thermoflex liner and a booster strap.
makes for a different boot, softer.........
I've ridden for a few years with the BTS in raichle 700s, I LOVE the system, my favorite bomber product.

I am planning to try BTS this year, so I can't help you there. As far as the straps are concerned, I am 6'3" so I have fairly long legs. I have been using booster straps for years and swear by them. They act like an extra buckle and help to make the boot feel taller.

I ride with BTS+ Booster straps and love both. Note that the bts is a great product but it cannot work miracles - if your boots are made of soft plastic you will have a tough time making them much stiffer, but you can definitely soften a stiff boot up considerably with it.

I'm thinking Booster straps this year. Maybe hold off on the BTS. My list is growing for new stuff this year.
