Okemo has made great progress with snowmaking and will be opening Friday the 21st instead w/ at least 3 lifts, and 5 lifts on the weekend.
Also, the Okemo Mountain School is holding their Ski and Snowboard Swap this weekend. I put my old Rossi Race V.A.S 156 in there, so at least one alpine board.:eplus2: just kidding, there should be more than that.

which of these places is going to have the best early season deals? Looks like Snow is charging $69...for three trails!
And dammit, I'm tempted, because there's still no word on when I'll be able to start using my season pass at B-East.

To bad the rockies didn't end up here!!
ba hahahah.
LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL GET REESTABLISHED THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT AS COLD NORTHWEST WINDS BLOW ACROSS LAKE ERIE.
THE BEST CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BE TO THE EAST OF
CLEVELAND. BUT...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE
REMAINDER OF THE STATE AS WELL. SOME OF THOSE COULD ACTUALLY
ORIGINATE FROM LAKE MICHIGAN AND MAKE THEIR WAY INTO WESTERN OHIO.
LITTLE CHANGE IN THE WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE END OF THE WEEK AND
WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO AVERAGE A GOOD 10 TO 15
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL DURING THIS PERIOD. THE THREAT FOR HEAVY LAKE
EFFECT SNOWS WILL CONTINUE AS WELL WITH BEST CHANCES BEING TO THE
EAST OF CLEVELAND.
