Any recommendations about where to get a base grind in the boulder area? I know Cristy sports does it. Anyone else?

Try Alpine Base & Edge - they're just north of Arapahoe on about 14th (just north of Boulder High). Ski & board tuning is all they do.

My understanding is that both Larry and Bola stopped using Alpine for their tunes, I don't know the reason though. I believe that they both use Christys now.

I don't know for sure who Bola is using now but it's not AB&E. I ran a couple boards through Bola and his new guy last season and they did a great job.

From personal experience and stories from others, I would not recommend Alpine Base and Edge.

I recommend TVR for all your board tuning needs. Best of all... he works for free!

I highly doubt you have a base grinder, Thor.

Ill probably do Cristys.

Thanks for the input, guys!
