In case anyone cares, here is the board I purchased with the Prior certificate that I won at SES08.
It is a 2009 WCR Metal 173, standard specs. The certificate was for a regular WCR, so I had to pay the difference for the metal, but I also got a discount for choosing the old maple leaf graphic, so the difference wasn't much. It wasn't my first choice of topsheet, but as a new dad money is tight and I think it looks fine.
Some folks recommended that I get a wider width, but 19-20cm seems to be the sweet spot for me, so this 19.5 should suit me well, and I really couldn't afford a custom width anyway.

Here is an attempt to show the metal layer under the topsheet. It looks like there is a metal layer near the base as well.

It should complement my quiver nicely. The other boards are a Madd 158 and a 4WD 164. I also have an old Burton Alp 156, but it will probably only get ridden as a rock board from now on.
