We're trying to get one more weekend in and are considering Sugarbush or Okemo. Sugar only has about thirty trails open and Okemo has about sixty. (If you can believe their websites) Does anyone have some local info or can make a recommendation in Vermont. Okemo is also closest to us and has a reputation for maintaining good snow. Where's the best snow. We're leaving this Weds after work and will ride through Saturday.

I concur with Ken's report... Soft Snow with plenty of coverage.

I was at Mount Snow last weekend and will be there again for the 3 day holiday weekend. Get it in while you can, they plan to close this Sunday.

Okemo will be close (I think) on the 11th. It wasn't so bad last week. The rain did a little damage:mad: So much for Vermont getting a good snow fall in last month.

It was a good thing that is was very cold in January and early February or this season would be over already.:(

Okemo had perfect spring riding conditions with plenty of snow! We had three perfectly sunny days! The snow was very well groomed and very firm for the first couple of hours for some great carving. After that I pulled out my Incline and rode the soft stuff and bumps until I was fried. Thankfully I was with teli skiers and there quads gave out just before mine each day.:D What a fabulous way to end one of my best seasons ever. Eight months and counting until the next! Have a great summer.

.....while Okemo is not as challenging as Killington, it does offer a good verities of carving terrian.

I consider Okemo a good fun "blue" MT, that you would never get bored. They guarantee at least 90 percent of the Mt would be groomed!! Plus they do a damn good job!

It was a good season!:D I will miss it!!!:(BOO HOO!!!
