Does anyone here have any experience with Phiokka or F2 race plates? Based on what I have seen, they look pretty decent and I know that yyzcanuck.com will be carrying them next season.
Are they worth looking into?
Thanks,

In my opnion the phiokka's are the best binding for racing right now. They are slightly more forgiving than bombers and cateks and weigh less, and they are stiffer and stronger than burtons. They also have a unique way of adjusting the binding angles so if you need to swap boards the angles stay the same which sames time and possibly and error. Volkl will be offering a phiokka binding under their name with 5 mm bails instead of the normal 7 mm, which will be a great binding for lighter riders, and women (Lynne Ott was on them at the end of this season and she loved them). The only down fall with the phiokka's is that they aren't as adjustable as the new bombers and the cateks, but they offer enough cant/lift options that will suit 90 percent of riders out there.

The Phia's are cool and there are quite a few riders on them and they are riding great on them.
I love them - trying to round up a pair.

I’ve used F2 titanium plates for as long as I’ve been riding and I like them a lot. I’ve not used any other type of binding so perhaps my view is subjective. They are fairy inexpensive (even considering the exchange rate) and are solid.
One weakness in design is that the T-nuts used to hold the heel cants and lifts have broken on me a couple of times which if unprepared could ruin a day on the hill>not to mention the safety implications. When they broke my back foot came away from the base of my board but no harm done. I would recommend them even considering the stripped bolts. Visit bluetomato.com, a great alpine snowboard shop.

Thanks guys, and how do Phiokka's compare price wise?

Before I bought TD2's, I checked out the prices for Phiokka PH1 and they were around 300 Euros which is around $381 (US). Those are some expensive bindings! Then you have to throw-in the cost of shipping from Europe.
If yyzcanuck.com sells the bindings for $300 CAN, then I might consider getting a pair. 300 Euro is just too much.

I would guess that the $150 bindings were the "Macho" model and not the PH1. The "Macho" does not have cant adjustments and suspension that the PH1 has.
