I was riding with an "in the know" very good racer and he had a Burton FP. He loved it and said that it was exactly the same in specs and appearance (not graffics) as some other brand board. He said when he rode that other brand it rode exactly the same as his Burton FP. He concluded they were built in the same factory. But now I can't remember what the other brand was...anyone know?

Do you remember what the specs were. Most of the team boards were still made by Burton. Fawcett's Burtons were modeled after the Priors he liked.

This was a conversation I had with another rider. I asked if the FPs were any good and he said he loved his and that led to his comment that it was exactly like some other board but I can't remember which it was. Seems to me it was not a custom board. It was a production board and his conclusion was they were from the same factory.
