What was snow summit like today SAT 3rd April

How was it?

The snow had a nasty brown tint in a lot of areas.

Coverage is getting pretty thin. I swear, some of my carves were punching through to the dirt!

Still, snow was firm and fun from opening until around 10:00. It got pretty soft after that, but not quite slushy. There was a very light crowd today.

I left at 12:45 and got my voucher. Since today was probably my last day of the season, I won't be using that voucher until next season.

If you plan on going on Sunday, you should hit it real early.

Yeah, that was me on the Proton.

I saw 2 other carvers on Sat that were riding together. You must have been 1 of the 2.

One guy was riding fast and constantly waiting for his buddy. Were you the master or the apprentice?

I just did my taxes and owe the MAN a good chunk of change. So I don't think I'll be going to Mammoth anymore this season.

I'm debating whether to hit Snow Summit for what will probably be their last weekend of the season. Are you going local anymore this season?
