here's the deal, I have a first gen metal coiler that I did not pay for and I'd hate to make money on someone else's good will but there are a few things I need
among them a soft boot ride with a 27ish waist, like a Madd free ride 167, newish tanker 177, ride yukon 172, lib tech skunk ape 172, 180, 190.
Size 27.5 or 28 head stratos pros, these must be in good condition......
got a hangl plate?
alpine boards, newish SL rides need only apply(coiler, kessler or SG) unless you have a either a stiff flex madd 158 or a original madd 158:D also, if for some weird reason you had a metal coiler AM you wanted to dump(why on earth you would is over my head)
Here's the details of the board, It's a coiler GS with metal, lots of taper, 20 cm waist 14ish SCR VERY stiff in the middle for a metal board, it makes the board highly demanding to ride but is nice for mach speed and if you like the feel of the classic GS boards like the older Priors but with unreal grippiness that metal provides. It makes this thing feel bigger than it is.
the inserts are tomahawk style if you don't hangl plate it, one set at 18.75 apart and it also has inserts for a hangl plate. the board has a ding in the sidewall that SLIGHTLY dented the edge but was repaired by Mike Desantis of PTC fame and this board has a fresh PTC tune.
There are no readable numbers indicating flex but I can say it's similar to some of the old super stiff GS boards from the pre-metal days and that translates to bear, you either need to be a big boy or very strong to ride this thing. It feels much bigger than it is and it's super stable at speed.
I'll post some pics of the ding when I have the time and some light.
I'm open to suggestions on boards if you have something interesting.......
I also have a tanker 187 that needs to go........
