Telluride

Last road trip of the season...maybe.
Going to be in town 3/14-3/17.

I would check closing dates for telluride as I think they are required to close on a certain date due to their Forest service permit requirements. they might be closed by then even if they have a big base. A-Basin will still be open. Also most of the resorts will be closed by those dates for the same reason. I know that Vail is under the same rules regardless of how much snow is left.It would be a shame to drive out here and not be able to snowboard! Loveland and Abasin will still be open. Loveland closes the first weekend in May and Abasin usually will stay open until end of May unless it gets real warm and all the snow melts.

They have a closing date of April 6th this year. They have extended their season by a week over the past few years. Lifts will be open longer too for daylight savings time:biggthump If you want someone to ride with you and show you around I could ride on the 17th(maybe). I have planned on taking the family to Crested Butte on the 16th as we have days to use up there.

I don't know of a single resort in New Mexico or Colorado that closes before April 1st...snow permitting. Even Ski Apache...
