Are the toe/heel bails interchangable? Could you slap the step-ins onto the short-plates?

If the divoting ain't too bad, I'll take the short plates regardless.

Dshack, yes totally compatable. At one point I had step ins on them, but lacked enough for / aft adjustment for my 26.5 Indies. With manual bail I had plenty of adjustment.

Whoops. Just saw you claimed the shorts Dshack. I will send you some pics before closing the deal. David, that means the longs are the only set not claimed, but the way I read it you have claimed these. Like I said, Pics today.

Cool Buddy! Have you used them before? there's a few things one needs to know about safe mounting, and, check the screws daily.

I have never used them before. I've only got 3 days in hard boots. I've been using some Burton variplates on an FP.
I was planning on looking at the Carver's Almanac because I think there is some info on setting these up.
