Who is going to be Mammoth or June this weekend? My wife and kids dogged me with the excuse of more responsible things to do so I'll be ridding alone Sat thru Mon. Let me know where and when. Happy turns. GC

Staying in Mammoth several doors down from 1849--- walkable distance to Canyon. Mammoth may be a bit crowded Saturday and Sunday am, so June could be the call. Monday, either place should be good.

Up until a couple days ago I was planning on going to Mammoth this weekend. Due to the ongoing heatwave, I postponed the trip until 9-25. Possible cold front with snow next week.
If you go both weekends, we should hook-up for some runs.

Tyler didn't you mean 3-25? I was up last week in the same conditions with hard snow in the am and very soft in the pm. Lots of fun and deep trenches! If you change your mind and go this weekend give me a call at my # up there 760-934-4038.

We are going this weekend to June again... ;)
It was very warm  last weekend already, but conditions got pretty good at around 10:30...
I figure we have not many weekends left, and who knows how much snow we will get from here. So I better be on the mountain and have a view good turns, instead of sitting at home asking myself "why didn't I go boarding this weekend  "

Yeah, I meant to write that I'm going on 3-25.
GaryJ, I definately won't make it this weekend. I already had my friend change his schedule and he needs alot of lead time to schedule stuff.
I hope we get some snow next week. I bought a Burton Fish on EBay and I'd like to ride it on something besides groomed. The Fish should arrive today. I got the Fish for the big Mammoth dumps and possible Cat-boarding trip for next season.
Edit: The Fish just arrived! Now I just need that storm to hit Mammoth next Thurs. night. EBay is GOOD.

Ray don't you ride with those boys from Santa Barbara Tery, Tim and the crew that follows. I met them a couple years back on Gunsmoke which I hear is now a terrain park? I'm bumbed, it was such a carvable run. Anyway I will keep an eye out Sat and Sun at June. GC

... at least for my taste... some people enjoy the slush, not me.
We need cold temps and a foot of fresh snow. Otherwise I will not go next weekend...

I was up there on sunday, and man, it sure was WARM. Slush is so forgiving though. I was over by 15 for most of the day and I think I saw two carvers ripping it up on that side of the mtn. Was it anyone in this thread?
Oh, and Ray.. looks like we might get some fresh this coming weekend. Cross your fingers! :D
