SO, I have the Uni cant with the 2 halves and the center metal floating piece.
I put my Co2's on it and it rotates? How do you lock it down??? I tightened it pretty good Still moves rotates on that center Ball.

Ive used that cant before & after some trial & error got it to work good at 3* & 6*. it makes my think the connection between the center plates is worn out. it should be very stiff to rotate for mounting scews?

Its brand new, never used. But there doesnt appear to be anything other than friction to lock it in place???

I used burton race plates & they have a rubber base gasket so that is probably why I had no issue.

I had to shim mine with a thin piece of sticky backed foam ( cut a piece of stomp pad I think) they always seem to have a little play in them and they will eventually break if you let them wiggle enough. shim it

The metal center piece locks down by pushing the front - (I assume you're using the cant on your rear foot) - the part towards the tip of the board between the two small metal prongs located on the base of the piece - so that it cannot rotate. The metal center piece should then look like a wedge or a mini-cant plate. Next place the two black plastic halves together, I would set them at "8" and make sure the "8" is lined up with the center of the rear of the board. Put this 'circular plastic pie piece' over the metal center and when you mount your binding on top the friction will hold it in place. You can change the setting from "8", but that's the clearest setting to understand how to first mount it to the board...

you can set the two outer discs at 0* thru 8* and it fits 3 or 4 hole and angle the cant parallel or perpendicular to the foot.

I just figure out what was wrong, The bent down tab on the top metal piece was on the high side of the the cant and not engaged, it should be on the low side so it interlocks.
Im using at 6, gotta have that cant, just wont work for me with out it.
Besides with cant you can have a wider stance.
