This was a little challenging as the areas to click on were very small. However the items were really simply and obvious to use (i.e. you use the key on the lock). Nevertheless, it took me almost an hour to solve it. Much longer than your usual online quickie puzzle like "Kick the Telephone and Die!" or something like that.

Jaded gamers like myself would call this a pixel hunt. That is, it requires no intelligence or cleverness or logic or mental ability whatsoever to complete aside from the ability to find hotspots on the image and click on them. This one's even worse, because some of the hotspots have nothing in the image to indicate their location at all, such as finding the battery, so that it just becomes a test to see how long you can stand clicking on different parts of the screen before you give up...

Nice presentation, though...

That was cool!!! I love puzzles, and have done all kinds of "brain teasers" but this thing was the best I've ever experienced! He should have one for us hardboots were you get to find a new board at the end!

Have fun!

bleh, I don't have the patience to click on crap like this... it's like the 7th guest, 11th hour and all those horrible "click the magic pixel" cd-rom games that tried to copy their way into the same cash myst made.

Both published in 1993. The cyan guys started work on myst in 1991 in their garage. I've never had it confirmed to me by someone first hand, but gossip back in the day was the 7th guest project was launched shortly after myst started shopping for publishers.

Ah, now this is the kind of Flash game I like:

Grow (http://www.interq.or.jp/silver/eye/grow3/index.html)

Nice presentation. Intuitive (needs no instructions), but requires some thought to solve. Some trial and error in the beginning to figure out what everything does, but you have all the information you need to solve it after a couple tries...
