Crowds new years day?

I wanted to go up today, but didnt. I just want to get more practice in, but I dont know if its going to be like Superbowl sunday, or spring break tomorrow?
Anyone have new years day feedback?

New Years day morning is usually pretty vacant on the hill especially if it hasn't snowed. With the cold weather it should be a great carving morning till almost noon. If it's a powder day people will get out early but don't last much past 11 or 12. At least thats the way it is here in Telluride.

thats what im hoping, some sun would be nice too, im getting tired of not feeling my toes!
