where are all the alpine guys riding now? I know the south side is nothing but terrain parks now? I'd like to take my Rossi VAS there one day but can't find any decent uncrowded trails to run.

I don't really know where I will be riding this year. I don't know if every single slope at south will be taken up jumps and rails. I know that is what MC proposes but that does not mean that it will definately happen. I'm kind of hoping that racing trail or at least some of it doesn't have jumps on it. If south is totally taken up with jumps and rails we'll have to see how much of it is. Some of the best snow is found between jumps so it may pay to stay down there anyway. Now with north totally void of a terrain park, it opens four trails on the north face for riding. I think that I will spend some time over there this year but since north is only accessible by that stupid open faced gondola (except for the really slow triple chair), I'll try to stick to Granite peak. It's hard to say where you should ride now. I think that as more terrain opens a clearer picture of the best terrain for carving will show.
