For the 2003-04 season, how many dollars (US) have you spent on alpine gear?

My total alpine investment would be in the ballpark of 1500-2000.00, if I had to totally replace all three of my carving boards, bindings and boots.
Luckily I got them a fair while ago and that they have held up to the seasonal grind.

I have not spent a penny in 3 years, my last board was my 196 f2 and it was FREE! now ask Shred how much he spent, I think he could have bought a good used car for the $$$$$ he spent. if I sound jealous, I am.:D

Something tells me a lot of people bought new bindings this year - like me. The TD2 might have had something to do with it.

I wonder: out of those spending clams on alpine gear this year how
many bought directly off of the web and how many bought at their
local ski/snowboard shop?
Someone has to be trackin' this information, right? I've shopped locally
and bought globally for alpine gear several years now. Alpine IS GROWING.
There are more names and avatars on BOL now than there was before
the new forum. I don't recognize half of the names I see now.
I CANNOT find alpine gear locally, 90 percent of my alpine gear is from
BOL and freecarve.com. If it wasn't for the World Wide Wait I would not
be a hardbooter today. Thanks to Fin for a fine forum and chance to ride
alpine equipment.
BOL is my snowboard shop.

if you ad it all up I spent over $2500.00 just this season alone. At least $1000-1500.00 was spent on myself and/or my son. Our personal gear includes (bought this season) 3 new boards, 4 sets of bindings, 2 sets of boots, Intec kits, boot bags, board bags and various other odds and ends. I was also looking at purchasing a custom board, but have changed my mind for the time being. I usually get at least one new board a year, but kinda went off the deep end this season. I feel good that I also provided 10 other people with either new/used boards, boots & bindings this season as well. I was lucky enough to make money on my sales this season which supported my "alpine buying explosion". I'll spend this off season finding new sources of merchandise and hope to be able to provide good deals for those in the alpine community next season too. This sport isn't dead by a long shot, and I'm hoping to contribute to it's betterment and advancement while having the time of my life!:D
Good carving,
Paul

So far, just under $600 per rider that is registered on BOL and has decided to vote on the poll (and is telling the truth). 49 riders is a lot less than the actual regiestered numbers. I guess the others are out riding.

Absolutely every season I say I don't need anything and every season I end up buying something. This year new prior 4x4 169. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Also new tuning gear. I think for our house, between the two of us its three pair of bindings and two boards. This doesn't include riding clothes either.
