Everything you wanted to know:
Bomber's Welcome Center (http://www.bomberonline.com/articles/welcome_center.cfm)
Track down our friend Jack Michaud. He'll be happy to know of other Maine Carvers.
Growing up in NH, we had Maine jokes.
Did you know the toothbrush was invented in Maine?
Had it been invented anywhere else, it would be called the teethbrush.

Ethan,I'm hopeful We'll have a variety of Rad-Airs available for the ECES to demo. They're not "true" Alpine boards, but rather bridge the gap between what you've been on,and what a skinny freecarver is.By all means,do some poking around, look for "the deal" that you might find in the B.S.T. here(or elsewhere);Just keep in mind that some cool boards will be available at the ECES to try out(and I'm sure there'll be a few other brands there,Good Brands, nice boards!),and Riding Them is how best to figure it all out. Meanwhile, keep your eyes open here,as I'm certain you'll get plenty of info on "the goods" that riders favor here. One of the cool things about this site(and others like it I've found) is that the "posers" get quietly pushed aside, and those products that WORK remain listed in high regard. The "Hype" is minimal, because THE RIDING proves what's true.Again, just ask the question, watch the replies, maybe "search" something here and there;but know that the riders here Don't Pose!
