Hey I just joined up on here and thought i would see what all the hoopla was about on the East Coast. I will be leaving here around the begining of July so after my tour of the US I should be hitting Mass around the begining of Aug. I hope to meet and ride with you all this next Season.

Oh yeah Also I am lookin to buy a freecarve set-up somewhere if you all have any suggestions I am all ears.

Eastern Boarder used to be good for buying anything you needed as far as soft boots go, I haven't been in there in about 7 years for snowboard stuff though, so I don't know how they are anymore. They have a good selection of longboarding stuff though. Other than that, Ken Jones/Joe Jones shops are generally pretty good. There's a place in Lincoln, NH called The Mothership, and while they primarily cater to the parkmonkey crowd, they're known to have Malamutes and the like show up in their shop from time to time.

Welcome to the ice coast!

Thanks, yeah I will have to check those shops out. I was planning on stoppin in at the Bomber shop on my way to MASS since I will be in the area. I am stoked to finally be able to expierence the East(ice) Coast hills. I am def not a Parkmonkey..so to speak. I love speed on my board. I cant find any freecarve or race boards up here in AK.

Everyone knows the only board to ride on the east coast is a MADD!!!!!

look me up when you get to town...

(where on the cape are you going? what is bringing you here. I know it's not our legendary snow conditions and big hills pulling you away from alaska!)

Yeah its not......I am in the US Coast Guard and I am being stationed at Otis ANGB or now called MMR(Massachusetts Military Res). I am stoked about the move though and am lookin foward to the east coast hills. I have only been to a few resorts in WA other than where I grew up, here in AK. So do you sell boards? I am going to be new to the Alpine Boarding scene. I have been riding freeride boards w/soft bindings/boots all my life, so this is going to be all new to me. Although I have always wanted to get into it there is no shop up here that sells those types of boards/bindings.

no...I don't sell boards...per-se, but In a pinch, You might be able to buy something off of me, or get a long term loaner. If Bob Dea is going to stay in town, I also know that he has quite the Demo Fleet. My simple advice would be for you to get a good pair of boots from a reputable dealer like Bomber Online or Hardbooter.com, ensure a propoer fit, and get some bindings. Beg borrow or steal on ebay some boards, and give them a try to figure out what you are looking for. Then go ahead and buy yourself the board of your dreams from Chis Bruce or Sean (in no particular order).
