Super nice carving day. I was the only harbooter on the mountain. Had lots of people commenting on my monoboard thingy... The palmer liftie was totally stoked on trying the hardboots. Sandy headwall looked awesome but by time I got there at 11am there was a wicked crust on the top 2" with 6" soft underneath. Usaully I am pretty good at dealing with weird snow but the alpine deck just wouldnt turn without getting caught under the crust. It looks like those who rode sunday had some super powder!!!! However its looks to be setting up for some super smooth conditions soon over in the Sandy headwall area:biggthump
