Summer Long Board Forum

Have a couple of requests to put up a "Long Board" skate board forum for the summer. Definitely seems to be a good amount of cross-over on the sports but I do want to see what you guy think. Well, what do you think?

Going Kite skating on my Vanquard right now.

Kite boarding is a fad, it will never last. Wind will soon be banned by the oil companies and then where will you be? Ha.

I'd like to see it, I'm currently at the silverfish longboard forums (just reading, not posting).

I'd like to see more technique type of threads and threads that discuss the whole longboard connection/comparison with snowboarding.

I just picked up a loaded vanguard and started skating for the first time ever (never skateboarded in my life). Aside from not knowing how to stop, I was pretty surprised how similar it felt to carving an alpine board.

Maybe it should just be a summer carving thread, to include surfing, kiting, and other board carving oriented sports.

I like Bullwings Summer Carving Thread idea. I carve winter snow in the summer with a KD 7000.
